Yup. Always the same kind of dude. Yelling about getting "whales", all the stuff they've pre-traded, and talking about whether "this batch is gonna be as fire as the last one". Gym shorts, wrap-around sunglasses, oversized t-shirt with some brewery on it, morbid obesity, a Monkish hat, and a tenuous grasp on the English language. Oh, don't forget the pregnant girlfriends and grandmas that they bring to mule, and how despite spending $150/week on beer cans they drive a 25 year old beater on its last leg. Like we get it, beer has consumed every aspect of your life.

I always get a kick out of that dude who you described who roll's out with 3-4 cases in the baby stroller with the mules in tow and then gives you that smug look like " yea, look at me homie I got more than anybody ! "

    Cheers,

"I got more than everybody! Ha! Now don't look at me while I drive away in my 1992 Honda Civic to my mom's house, since I have no real aspirations in life and spend all the money from my minimum wage job on beer and can't afford a place of my own, even though I'm almost 40. Gotta tick those whalez though BRO! Check out my BA Abraxas, I keep it right next to the mayonnaise jar and hot dogs in the fridge!"

Damn, tough crowd. Now how out of place will I look when I roll up an a few weeks in a business suit (maybe I should bring a change of clothes)?

I love the descriptions of the lines in this thread so much I'm tempted to come down from SF just to experience this shitshow for myself.

Oh you'll be fine, I know a couple other guys like myself that will drop in on a Friday dressed in business casual as we wrap up our week.

My job doesn't have a dress code, and when I make it up to Torrance, I'm usually in like...technical hike/active gear. Aviators and a hat.

Like Pitbull in The North Face gear.

This would be awesome, especially if the people travelled around the country to the breweries who are known to have lines.

My daily dress for work would be considered casual for most, jeans and casual cotton shirts everyday.

The parents with kids has always been annoying to me. With this heat though, it is infuriating. I've been lucky, in that last couple months, to be in the area when the IG announcements have dropped like 3 times. There's always this guy, or his wife/mom, who have obviously been there since early in the day with a little girl around 3 years old. In the sun...in her stroller...dead asleep. I have a 3 and 5 year old...never ever would I even think about bringing them to release, much less in this heat.
Lately I've been seeing this fat old broad with an older African American couple, usually near the front of the line. They're an elderly couple and you can tell they're there against there will. This is why I think releases should be done online. Not for fairness, but to help reduce the suffering these stupid lot lizards are selfishly inflicting on others.

Don't get me started on the haze bros. Haze Bros = Fat guy that steals Woody in Toy Story 2.

Well one out of two aint bad, I was buried in a project and when I looked up it was 1:30 and Convivium ticket's were just a pleasant memory. I did however make it up the pub for some fills later in the day and filled up with this homage to all things Nelson. Eric and I shared stories about the good ol days of the OG Alpine Nelson and how this pungently sticky sweet fresh shipment of Nelson Sauvin reminded him of those heady days. Eric informed me that this farm also supplies Hill Farmstead and Cellermaker with their Nelson. This is massive, pungent mean and dirty and I love it, yea it can use a few days to behave itself but EF IT, I'm going in now, and yea, close your eyes and take a deep snort and you may think your sitting in the old pub up on the hill. I cannot wait to see what Henry does with a consistent high quality source of Nelson hops to play with.

    Cheers,
