Maybe Saturday or Sunday? I was kinda surprised something didn't drop today, considering the loaded keg email.

If I had to guess they are waiting for the Kolsh to sell out first.

I was just wondering if any NY breweries would get in on the wet hops this fall.

I'm sure we'll see someone do it with local hops. Hell someone has probably been doing it, we just haven't noticed because it isn't hazy enough.

I don't think its super common in NY because of procurement issues, there are hop farms but they aren't huge and they aren't doing any of the exciting hop varietals cause they are proprietary. Its not like the PNW where you can go to Yakima or Willamette and load up your truck and then go straight to the brewery with Simcoe or Citra or Mosaic.

Had a 4oz pour of whatever orbits they have on tap. Exceeded expectations.

Plenty of breweries outside of the PNW fly out, pick their hops, and ship them home (by plane, truck or however) in such rapid fashion as to allow for a proper wet hop beer. I’m sure OH could do it if they wanted, especially given their budget.

Yeah, but if you’re expectationwas that it would be undrinkable.... haha

Barrier did a wet hope pale ale two years in a row. Probably 2014 and 2015. Maybe a year in either direction - not super positive. It was a fantastic interpretation (similar to the Founders).

Would love to see local breweries put them put, even they were pours only.

I didn't want to let you know this Rob, but Galaxy+Cashmere was a top tier dual hop for me. I can only imagine Citra+Cashmere is better. Can't wait to try it.

Also, while I'm here: Cream of Broccoli tastes like ass.

Got a 4 pack of mylar and a 4 pack of the dual hop. Super excited for the latter. I got a 32oz growler of the cream of broccoli last night. While I wouldn’t say it was bad, I definitely wasn’t interested in cans today
