Kane Brewing (July/August 2018)

Wonder why they are doing the super early post here. Going to be a huge line in the morning. Hoping there is enough to survive the initial wave so i can go later.

 

I’m with you. Seems like a weird move for just another IPA since they almost always post cans right before opening. They must want extra buzz/hype and a line for some reason. I was already thinking of stopping by tomorrow but not if there’s a line.

 

Side note: I wonder how this brut IPA will compare to Yale Terrace’s?

 

The comparisons are inevitable....Kane better have brought their A game

I don’t see why you would wait for this when they have been lasting into the day..

According to instagram only about 10 people in line right now. I’m thinking that’s a good sign.

 

Haha i thought the same thing when i pulled up at 1130 for one of their preannounced releases. A wave of 100 people showed up at 10 to noon

 

May have announced it so the restaurant could talk it up at dinner? Similar to how Kane announces morning Bell early so rook can talk it up?

Or Kane releases BBA morning/evening today.

Heard there’s a long line. Anyone want to tell us when/if it does down?

 

Best thing IMO is the chance to taste all the anny brews in the taproom. Wish I was in town for that.

 

Here now...no line for cans but the line for pours is about 25 deep

 

Yeah me too. Cans were nice and quick but the line for pours was really slow.

 

Yea it was moving at a snail’s pace for a while but Fifth and 2192 were definitely worth the wait

 

That’s funny. Those 2 are exactly what I got. And yeah both were amazing.

 

Batch 1000 and morning bell are on at tap house 15 also. Thought batch 1000 was excellent,loved what the rye addition added

 

Fifth is out. Still a lot left of the cans and all other anniversary stilll pouring

 

Both new canned beers are really good. I’m halfway through my first can of 2nd Reef. I think I prefer this to 3rd Reef. Good Kane day all around today. Happy 7th.
