Fieldwork appreciation thread

Looks like Fieldwork will finally be getting some short term distro via a collaboration with 21st Amendment! And it's a hazy IPA to boot, looking forward to being able to grab some Fieldwork at a reasonable price per can

(I'm not disparaging Fieldworks pricing strategy, but rather the general idea of buying special releases at breweries and paying $4.00-$6.50 per can of a Pale Ale, IPA, or DIPA)

The official release for the collaboration will be at the 21st Amendment's San Leandro brewery on Saturday during their Augustfest party.

 

Maybe an "old school" FRIDAY release......lol..... I may actually be able to get some again.

A Friday release would be sweet. I love Faction so really looking forward to this one!

 

Well, last week they gave as a truly old-school "when the truck arrives" Thursday night release, so anything's possible

 

They are calling it a triple release now. I am guessing Saturday......boo..... But still hoping for a Friday at opening......

 

Triple release this Saturday? Might have to fly into SFO for a day trip.

It is Saturday in Sacramento. 3 can release. Edit: Looks like all locations on Saturday now..

 

The dream is dead…unless they wait a few hours and tell us there's an evening preview, which I guess they've also done pretty recently.

 

Maaannnn, I guess we can hope for an evening preview. Bummer on the no draft, also!

 

if there's a preview I'd greatly appreciate it if they could post here. I could swing by around 8:30 tonight.

 

I inquired about a preview in Berkeley and was told that something might go up if one of the current beers runs out.

darkness and 2 kings. bummer, really wanted to try that collab.

Lol, looks like one group of people took out a hit job on Death on a Friday on Untapped. Was just checking to see reviews and wondered why it was only at 3.69. who rates a beer less than a 2? Hell, Natty light deserves better than that haha

 

Was hoping to try the new releases on tap on Saturday but nothing was on. Hopefully they put them on tap this week.

 

King Citra is on tap in Sac - I got 2 growlers. Also got crowlers of Losers Club Vol 3, Steve and..whatever the other guy, Grove Stand. That's a lot of hazebros.

 

Pulp again already… with a quiet mention that Peach Parfait is coming "next week"!
