I really enjoyed the Rustic Pentagram when I was down last month(ish).

From the above post by @makalarch:

    "$26.50/four pack".

    Two comments:
    • To the best of my knowledge/recollection this is the first 4-pack that exceeded the $26.00 mark
    • This is the first time Tired Hands increased their price in the cents (50 cents) realm vs. whole dollars
    Cheers!

This is exactly what I thought and was going to comment. We need a new category for beer these days. It’s like some are more like alcoholic sweet beverages than beer. I know innovation...and I think it’s cool to push boundaries but when does it not become beer? Good discussion stuff.

I mean its a collab with Omnipollo, who is allergic to making beers with just malted barely, water, yeast and hops. Honestly the whole cotton candy thing is a really stupid gimmick, its just sugar, it will mostly ferment out.

Then they'll release a lager and people will go, "why are they releasing a lager? what the fuck?"

They still do Alien Church every 2-3 weeks and HopHands all the time, if that's your thing. This release even has Technicolor Splendor if you're not into all the adjuncts. And, you know, 2 whole taplists of various things.

Yeah but I don't care if they brew beer I do like, I only want to complain about beer I'm not going to buy and how much it costs.

Lol to all of this, ok so a fifty fifty split this week, two of my favorites in the vanilla and technicolor and then the other two that I wish we could buy by the single can to you know actually try product before spending 26.50.

Im in the same boat. Haven’t been in a while and single vanilla is my favorite. I’m hoping maybe it won’t be as bad as IG thinks. Wishful thinking that I can swing by late for just vanilla? Time will tell I guess.

Chances are I'm going to try and swing by around 830 but I think today is going to be ridiculous. Last hurrah for teachers, nice weather for the chairs, trade boards going crazy.

So the more I think about it the more the Space Food Cream Team Double Pina Colada Shake for the Masses doesn't sound bad at all?
    Cotton candy:
    4 cups of sugar
    1 cup of corn syrup
    1 cup of water
    ¼ teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of raspberry extract (can use other extracts, such as almond, orange, or vanilla)
2 drops of pink food coloring

So pretty much take that out as it's mostly fermentable sugar with some maybe additional flavor from an extract you are left with a pineapple, coconut, lemon shake which sounds nice right now. What doesn't sound nice is still the price though.

I know this is Beeradvocate not Wineadvocate, but I keep thinking about the price people are gonna pay for the full allotment of this and I just wanna say look, I know you're into beer not wine, but if you switched that budget to wine you could be drinking some of the rarest, most baller-status wines in the world. And you won't have to stand in line to do it!

Almost $100 for 1x 4 pack of each beer today.
I think everything will sell out today aside from the Five Nut Blonde Ale.

I think I just had my moment of clarity realizing I was talking about cotton candy ingredients for a beer...

I keep trying to tell myself this but substitute wine for Bourbon. The cost of cans, or in my case bottles of stouts in Florida, adds up very quickly.
