Also, I asked the bartender what else they have in barrels. They said they plan to barrel age all of their stouts with the vanilla stout coming up next.

When the stouts are non-BA, they are super sweet... I think that lends itself to a great BA stout after they sit for a few months. Looking forward to them this winter.

 

So don't bring to a bottle share?

 

The BA vanilla was at Great Taste yesterday...out of a labeled bottle actually. I was nearing the end of the day so would like to revisit, but I think I preferred the non-BA.

V20 is out is out now. Picked up some at Capone yesterday. Liked it better than V19.

 

Grabbed some V20 today. Great IIPA. Glad to finally get some HC in cans.

 

Hoping some of the sweetness from the early 18 bomber days returns for the cans. Good stuff so far but the best HC IPA’s have been in the bottles so far. Not meant as a huge criticism though

Still had BA Raspberry on Friday. If you've been thinking about going, go. This beer is tasty and it's always crazy to me how beers sit at the brewery. Grand Monde 6 is also a jammy delight, V20 was tasting great on tap.

 

It's crazy that this is the closest brewery to my house, yet I've only been there once (and I like their beers!) May need to make visiting this place a priority.

 

V20 is excellent! that is all.

 

Tried the BA Vanilla today. Lots more barrel comes through on this one and there's a ton of vanilla. Pretty good stout. A 6oz pour was just about the right amount.

 

The IIPA Fresh One Hop Simcoe is really great. If you are a fan of simcoe (I know it can be an acquired taste for some), and I'm a huge fan of simcoe, probably my favorite hop, then you will really dig this. It's great. Really thick fluffy mouthfeel with that simcoe presence. Ever since the move to cans I have been digging every release and have been really impressed. Every time there is a new Hubbard's Cave can drop buying a four pack has become essential for me. Also super stoked you guys distro to Printer's Row Wine. Love that spot.
