Petrol had 5 cases and sold out before 5, the posted selling time.

Hopefully they didn't sell out of Rancors...

Had one at the Saucer within about 15 minutes of them tweeting that it was on sale. I really enjoyed it and it's worth seeking out. I would say (despite the tasting notes on SA's website) that the bourbon was possibly a little overpowering and that it was just on the good side of being cloyingly sweet. I'm not an expert in aging beers, but I bet this one will mellow nicely with time.

I'm sure petrol sold to loyal customers, I would've too. I can't say where I got mine but Star Pizza is where I'd go

It was a long line of the public, they just started serving sooner.

I'm just going to give up on this.. no way I'm going to find a place with it.. without venturing into Houston and I just don't have the time this week. Oh well... other great beers to drink.

Quoted for truth (and I actually had one). Plenty of great beer out there.

Arrived at 4:35. Line was 10 deep, maybe, by then. By 4:40, there were at least 30 people in line (20 behind me). They opened the doors at 4:45 (about 50 people in line by this time). They sold out at exactly 4:58, and at least 40 or so people that were still in line did not get any. Good thing Ben is getting 5 more cases. They blew through their 1st 4 cases in less than 12 minutes.

The 30 cases Hay Merchant is getting tomorrow should go within 30 minutes or so, as im sure there will be over 100 people waiting in line before they open.

Split a bottle with a friend ($10 bucks a pop) and I must say its def. not worth it. Sweet and thin. If someone would have not told me it was a RIS, I would have guessed a BBA Winter Warmer. Should be fun to age though. At this time it just tastes like someone added half a shot of Wild Turkey to my beer.....

I'm surprised it tastes so young, if that's the case... the thing was brewed almost a year ago!

$10 for a 12-oz BBA beer is completely ******ed. I'll skip it, I've got more important things to do and buy.

This sort of artificial hype is starting to wear on me.

Yeah, all these beers are a lot easier to come by than most people seem to want to accept.

I think the point is that there are several much better much more available beers to get at a more reasonable price. If I want a solid RIS I would go get BCS, Ten Fidy or Old Rasputin and give very little fucks about how snazzy or limited the label.

I could order Black Albert, Kabert, and Cuvee du Delphine, from Belgium for $10, or under, a bottle. FROM BELGIUM. $10 is absurd.
