On the neck. It's a yellowish ink if I recall.

Generally right above the label in yellowish ink. Sometimes you need to hold it up to the right light and you can find it.

Floaties only bother me unless the flavor is off if that makes any sense. I’ve bought PSue up to a month old before and haven’t had issues. Time for a trip to Fort Point for some Trill...

I bought PSue this weekend on Martha's Vineyard that was canned in March (and yes, I checked the date and bought it anyway). It was definitely fading but still very enjoyable and no floaties.

FWIW, these issues are being regularly reported with fresh cans across all core (IPA) brands in Iowa.

It does, but typically floaties are a sign that something's wrong...in my experience at least.

I feel like every Focal Banger ever brewed seems to have floaties... at least the 10 different ones I’ve had. Floaties can signify something is wrong but they also can signify virtually nothing other than a specific choice by the brewer to not filter or fine or whatever.

A bottle of Twisted Galaxy from that last drop was the first beer I've had from them with noticeable floaties. It required some decanting but tasted fine.

Yep. just moved to boston from chicago where we'd had TG for a long time. pseudo sue was all over the place. Some days it was a haze/juice bomb and was probably the best pale ale id ever had. other days it was almost as clear as a lager and really mediocre.

Floaters were a constant issue with them too, and seemed to form as early as about 2 weeks. sucked getting your hands on a 3 week old ddh pseudo sue bomber only to pour it and get a ton of floaters. And it wasnt just ss, saw in just about every IPA/pale ale i got from them

Alright, between this and the whole suing their ex-brewer thing, TG is officially cancelled. That was a fun couple weeks.

Thanks for posting, I hadn't heard about that.

I've been a consistent buyer the last few months and had been talking these guys up, but can't imagine I'll pick anything from them up again.

Where did you hear that? Sure you're not confusing it with Fires, Skulls & Money?

    Jefferey,

The next shipment of King Sue to Massachusetts left on Monday. So it should be on shelves soon.

    Cheers!

Dammit, I had Labor Day as the over/under on the TG backlash starting.

Picked up a 4pack of fires, skulls, and money at Bacon's in Hudson. Late july canning. Reminds me a lot of some prime Trillium beers. Really well done.

Think TG would be fine as long as they don't ship super often. I think I grabbed the 2nd to last 4pack.

They did it to themselves. The competition here combined w/ 6 week old PSue on the shelf that is muddled and loaded w floaties- recipe for loss of customers.

For what it's worth, I purchased Fire Skulls and Money that was canned 8/16.

Had the first can yesterday. Damn good beer, no floaties, thick as hell. So that's over a month old and holding up just fine. If ANYTHING still a bit too green...but sometimes I think I mistake this for bitterness.

Case in point though, I was going to buy two 4 packs, but when I saw the date I decided to go with just one.
