I would be pretty disappointed with the feliz vendedor....

Honestly? I'd be pretty disappointed with most on that list except the Shake & Technicolor Splendor.

Didn't the CSA last year have a very similar list as far as beers that were cheaper in comparison to other offerings and also repeated on multiple occasions? I can't say I'm too surprised at what was offered. Then again, I didn't make the investment myself. Hopefully the fruit/veggie/cheese options made it worth your while though.

Hey guys - I will be down this weekend with the ability to stop by around noon to 1 on Friday. If cans are leftover from this release, do they move to the General Store or will they still be at the release location? I'd be happy with just Hop Hands from the General Store, but wanted to know if I needed to pop into the release location (which I think from what I've read is always the Fermenteria?). Thanks for any advice

Yeah, last year was the second year doing this and first with cans. The cheese was great, the produce was just ok.

They would be at the Fermentaria - keep an eye on instagram and if they move them (which happens occasionally) it will be posted

Especially since most releases have lasted for a while.

Aside from the general store beers, I think at least one (Pineal?) was actually 2 weeks after the canning/release as well

For the newcomers to Tired Hands exploring this thread: I feel like we need a pagely reminder to please don't skip the bottles at the General Store when visiting.

I understand the desire to get the latest cans and that Tired Hands is better known nationally for their IPAs, but I think their bottled offerings better personifies "Tired Hands," not to mention there's almost always high quality beer there.

Totally agree. Ourison is a great bottle of beer. As are many of the other bottles available at the General Store.

And also don't skimp over Prayer Group and its dark counterpart Wiccan Worship Circle.

I am really looking forward to when Rustic Pentagram is back in bottles (hopefully)

What problem do they have not selling out all the beer in one night? Doubt they care...

Tongue Extinguisher was my favorite back in the day and then again last year at the anniversary concert.

So it's like a 60 minute IPA, only for dry hops?

This is a really good release, but sadly my fridge is already full of Tired Hands beer that is just sitting there getting old, so I won't be hitting Aardmore for cans for a few more weeks at least.

So does anyone have any idea as to why TH are canning beers and then not selling them for close to a week? I took a quick look at the can date for the extra vanilla shake that was released last week on 8/15, and the can date is 8/9. Personally, for shakes this doesn’t really bother me, but my one friend who loves to critique TH is having a field day with this.

I know there were issues with the canning line shortly after the anniversary, but that was over 2 months ago. Anyone have any guesses ?

Just a guess but why risk something going wrong or not finishing on time if something does go wrong. If you have space just seems to make sense. Can it early, store it, determine allotments based on turn out. Just speculation but I don’t see any other reason why.

I like to wait a week or two anyway with their cans. Seems like they taste better not fresh off the line.

It's my understanding that roughly two months ago, TH made some very minor adjustments to the canning line to ensure proper sealing of the cans. Some batches were held for a week plus to check can integrity. Additional upgrades to the canning line are planned to improve shelf life.
