    Anyone had the malaice yet? I bought a few yesterday and am waiting for the weekend to try them. SSMS is one of my favorites so I am eagerly awaiting to try these.

    I did. I thought it was stellar and somewhere in between Weird and Gilly and SSMS in terms of body with the SC bite on the finish. I had it on draft and then got a 4 pack to go, which I promptly drank - so no palate fatigue for me.

    I like Singlecut. Even willing to spend 20 bucks a 4 pack (16oz) The distribution in central jersey is sketchy at best. The high volume liquor store I go to gets it about every six months and it is gone in 2 days. I really enjoyed " softly spoken words"

    Their whole concept of price and “what’s right” has been so out of whack since day one that I don’t even know what to say anymore.

    Like, what happened here? Did they finally decide to charge (somewhat) decent prices (still not) or is the quality of the beer gonna suffer because they “lowered” the price?

    I’m so sick of this shit.

    That's at least in line with their competitors for the most part but:

    1) It's complete and total garbage if it's just that one beer and not their DIPAs in general.

    2) Complete and total garbage to act like, "hey, we're listening to our consumers' very valid complaints about our abhorrent pricing structure" and then adjust the price to just the top end of what their competitors offer their DIPAs for, and not lower.

    I have no issues with their pricing. It's the inconsistency from batch to batch and even can to can that makes me avoid SC despite living in Astoria.
