Apparently they have, or did have cans of IPA made only for OSU stadium for football games.

I loathe to mention this because all you harpies really won't stop squawking for cans now.

Yeah you are right, harping for cans has the same chance of working as harping for CBC to make a NE IPA .

It worked for getting Bodhi bottled too, if you consider annoying them to the point where they put it off for about 8 years working.

Why don't you ask for something reasonable, ask for your NEIPA to be bottled?

Asking them to change their long term plans and upgrade to a canning machine that can satisfy their market demands (several hundred thousand dollar machine) isn't realistic. They already have a bottling machine that can do it, why's that not good enough? Do bottles just not fit the aesthetic for you?

It's one thing to run a batch of NEIPA on their pilot system and make some kegs, but running a full batch, buying a huge canning machine and sending it out to shops all over their territory is totally different and isn't gonna happen over night, because we know they don't play the rarity game just to please like 1/16th of their customer base.

I'm sure these guys at CBC would appreciate reasonable, attainable requests, though.

If they can bottle it without any oxidation problems, sign me up!

Genuinely curious here, what does bottling NEIPA have to do with oxidation? And why then isn't Bodhi, Creeper, Wanderer having oxidation issues?

The few beers I've seen have terrible oxidation issues have been canned by hacks like Platform and Hoof.

In other news, Columbus Brewing Company is going to start being distributed to NW Ohio soon. Next week there's a CBC tap takeover scheduled for Legends in Findlay. I'm very excited.

@tcorder219 will there be more IW volume 2 being sent out?

I was unsuccessful finding anything the last week or 2 and when I do am untapped search out to 75miles it looks like it's there hasn't been any recent purchases anywhere. Just wondering if more will show or if I missed the boat completely...

Don't they do like 3 runs of it and then change volumes?

we'll package a few more batches of Vol 2. Unfortunately they have to be spread out a bit due to bottling IPA, Bodhi, Festbier, Cowboy Bernie, etc.

folks w scheduled Wednesday deliveries received it yesterday. Those who get Thurs deliveries will see it today. Each account has a regularly scheduled delivery day (some have two) with each distributor. It just depends on where they fall within the week.

Hope pricing is reasonable. Seems most places like that have $6.00-7.50 pints of beers along with slow-turning taps because they have so many (freshness suffers). Can be very hit or miss. I wish them luck though and hope it ends up awesome.

Absolutely nothing in that article made me think JAFB or Columbus. It was screaming Platform and Sibling...local for the sake of local. Hope I'm wrong, but I doubt this place will come close to what Brendan is doing over at Beer Engine...KILLING it!

Cowboy Bernie is available at the Hill's Market downtown. I can't wait to try it this evening.

We will be having our first can release at Branch & Bone this Sunday 8/26/18. I am very proud of both of these beers. Hope to see some familiar and some new faces! Cheers.

"Join us this Sunday for our first can release as we debut our new Double IPA, In the Light, and our Peach Tea Berliner in 16oz cans!

In the Light - DIPA 8.2% ABV

Our newest hoppy beer making its draft and can debut. This beer is brewed with Amarillo and Citra hops. Hazy, balanced, delicious notes of juicy orange citrus and soft tropical fruit. 72 cases. $16/4 pack

    Peach Tea Berliner - 4.2%

This variant of our Berliner-style weissbier is infused with peach tea. Notes of herbs like rose hip and hibiscus play behind solid fruity peach and slightly tannic peach skin flavors. 32 cases. $13/4 pack

Both beers will be available on draft when we open at Noon. Cans go on sale at Noon as well. We honestly do not know what to expect for turnout so we are setting limits Sunday morning based on turnout. We are a small brewery and put as much of these beers into cans as our system allows. That said, 72 cases of In the Light and 32 cases of Peach Tea Berliner could likely go very quickly. The goal would be that anyone that arrives by Noon Sunday has the opportunity to buy something. Thanks for your understanding!

Christian Bros Meat Company LLC will be on site serving food when we open at Noon. They will be serving up some of the finest smoked meat BBQ and sides in the Greater Dayton area. You don’t wanna miss this one!

Please be mindful of our neighbors around us. Overflow parking is also available in the lot accessible from Wayne Ave on our block between the vacant old Halal Market building and the vacant building next to the Taproom."

That location is cursed. Like the make your own pizza slice idea. But I would have to agree on the beer options. That place is huge, and needs to be packed constantly. I hope they succeed. But only time will tell.
