    I haven't been in there since the days when they offered a four (I think it was four?) course meal paired with German beers. That was phenomenal. I think Aventinus was paired with a chocolate cake. They stopped it and it wasn't worth the price to go there anymore for me.

    Plus, Bronwyn opened which is closer to me. And also, Olde Magoun's had a much better German draft list than Jacob Wirth's did.

    Mel's the man. I went to college literally a block away (Emerson). Will always have fond memories of piano and pitchers.
