    The milkshake style seems to have taken off locally. Tired hand seems to be the OG within this style.

    Can anyone who has had TH milkshake beer speak to how our local Milkshake offerings compare to the Milskhakes that TH has been pumping out?

    Um, yeah, this is not good.

    It has an off flavor...lemon pledge maybe?

    The BEST Windmill compares very well, but they're so inconsistent it's hard to recommend.

    I had an Oatshaker "New England IPA" from Alarmist tonight; you could do worse, but it was a bit malty & grapefruit forward for me.

    The mouthfeel was good, but the malt came through as a table-sugar flavor that I didn't love. And while I enjoy citrus notes in this style, grapefruit is personally my least favorite citrus fruit.

    Glad I only bought one...

    I had a crowler of it a month or two ago. It was solid, but not spectacular. They’ll get this dialed in. Someone mentioned Old Irving’s Beezer a few weeks
    Back, it’s another solid ipa that has me hopeful. I found it well balanced and drinkable.

    A little birdie told me that the Triptych fairy made some drops in the Chicago area. Can't remember what all the places were, but Crafted in Mokena was one. More coming in the very near future. As if you all weren't up to your eyeballs in hops already...

    Last I heard is that Triptych is letting the guys at crafted and Iron and Glass etc pick up beer from them in Champaign- which is legal with self distro and easier for Anthony to get his beer up to Chicago!
