Most of these beers have oats if not flour in them. Stop believing what breweries tell u are in their beers. Could u imagine one day, monkish comes out with something to the effect that they dont brew 100% of their beers because they dont have the room. Hmmmmmm

 

Flaked oats are common, nobody is being led down a blind alley, the topic of conversation is the amount of oats used in this recipe.

For sure, I'm over in Rancho and I plan to load up and try every other beer on tap tomorrow. I'm excited because I love the area - they needed good breweries to add to the great wine and food spots.

 

I get yours and others thoughts on them. They produce a lot of beers, and most are miss. But I do think some are decent, to solid to have. Pricing makes no sense though, they should not be charging 24/4 pack on average beer like they are Monkish. I think they just put out too much beer and are more about quantity than quality. Some of their stouts are decent, at least the recent ones I had.

 

Kings stouts are way to thin. Especially the barrel aged ones. You'd almost think that they weren't barrel aged at all.

 

The 2 recent stouts - racks on racks and night cap are decently more medium bodied IMO.

 

They need to make Ohno Kenzo t-shirts ... luv me some Domo

 

Made release yesterday. No limits, people were buying cases. They also had Juicy Double.

 

I didn't like the IPA's I had when I went in May/June. My girl bought me two bottles of their stouts for my bday. Birthday one and a Marshmallow one I believe. Haven't opened them yet.

 

Electric actually recommended to wait a bit cuz of the Cryo hop ... they posted this on Instagram

 

Pretty stoked to try these out. They are going fast in the OC area.
