Is this canning release tomorrow also expecteded to have a line? I ask because there is no Frooted beer being released, and I thought Frooted beers were the only reason for non-stout release lines.

Given the high praise/ratings marbles has Id assume lines at least at the start of the day.

Makes sense. I had it on draft when they brewed it earlier and I (surprisingly) really liked it. The reason it was surprising to me that I liked it as much as I did is because I’m not a big milkshake IPA guy in general.

Ohh well. I’ll just wait a bit for the crowds to settle and then I’ll go. I liked Mozie too so that’s the one I really want for the weekend.

The 2 4 pack limit has me wondering if it lasts beyond the first 2 hours. Hopefully it sticks around. Is this Mozie’s first appearance since the opening of the brewery?

Yeah this might be one where there's a small line at opening and by 11:30ish you should be good to go. I think the only releases that have actually had long lines was the anniversary release, STOUTS, grand opening, and first time with their own canning line release. Other then that they have been pretty chill, even if they did sell out within a few hours.

I'm sure this is a dumb question, but I'm no brewer and I don't really investigate these matters too frequently:

When it says an IPA was "aged with strawberries, vanilla, and Mosaic hops," what do they mean? Is aged really the right word? Or is this a case of using a buzz-word when perhaps a better word could more aptly describe the process?

I am actually thinking of stopping at noon, curious to see how bad the lines are (I assume people are lined up already).

I got there at about 11:15 and was in and out of line in about 25 minutes. It wasn’t bad (save the guy coughing up a lung that felt compelled to stand 2 inches behind me and never cover his mouth).

Still a healthy amount of Marbles, Mozie and even Clamp & Gasket from last weekend available to-go. Won’t last the day, but no need wreck on your way over to the brewery right now...

PSA that you have to get them from the store section and not from the bar. Also, marbles is really ugly. But delicious.

Goid question. I have seen this a few times. Spending time before packaging with some additional ingredient, typically for flavor, could be described as 'aged'.
I often infer more from the word 'aged' than maybe I should.
What word would you prefer? Rested?Soaked? Infused? Steeped?
I don't really like any of them. But I'm open to suggestions.

Something that doesn't imply that it was a work of art, which I think is what so many of us get from a truly profound "aged" beer.

This may sound crazy, but hear me out.

We associate the term age with something a bit magical when there is a skillful brewer at the helm. That's the very reason why Cory named Beer:Barrel:Time exactly that. To showcase what time and aging can do.

I feel like age is pourposefully deceptive here. I'd prefer almost anything else that is not associated with this context.
