Not a bottle shop, but don't overlook Barley Island in Noblesville...they make some decent stuff IMO.

When I'm back home (Nobletucky is my hometown) I always hit Payless at 96th & I-69, and never leave disappointed.

Payless in Carmel has a ton of inventory, which can be good and bad at the same time. they are on Adams Rd. off of Carmel Dr.

I will give a plug for Vine and Table in carmel. They have a great selection and are probably not as frequently traveled by the masses. Jordan, the beer guy, is awesome and knows his shit....

Kahns at 86th and Township Ln. rd is great, but likely pretty far out of your way, but both Kahns stores are worth the trip. And the Crown at 126th and Meridian is pretty good as well.

    Happy hunting!!

I'd second the Kahns, Vine and Table and Payless on 96th and I-69. Those are always good options with pretty good selection, although you sometimes luck out on some of the smaller stores.

If you're staying north of Indy I recommend the Payless on 96th. Good selection and beer geeks obviously don't shop there enough based on a few things they still have on their shelves. It's just too bad their customer service has fallen off a cliff since Joe left for Flat 12.

Kevin rules. And he fell off a skateboard, not a cliff, mannnnnnnn. The rest of the staff? Well, it's a non-specialty liquor store staff...

Kevin is pretty awesome, but I do miss Joe

Joe's still in Indy and now actually has more time to come to your homes and personally drink down the rarest of your stash and disparage your poor taste and ogle your binders full of women. All it takes is an email or text, dudes. Don't be sad!
