Even after just over the course of a couple days I noticed an improvement between first and last can of the 4 pack

I've experienced this a lot with Galaxy heavy beers. Not just with OH.

Apparently there is a line already FYI. I thought we collectively agreed not to do that anymore!

Anyone going to be at the release today? I’ll be there around 1230/1. Look for me and we can talk about homemade beef jerky, building tree houses from scratch, fighting sharks with bare hands and hop showers.

So true. The Galaxy+Moutere is another perfect example of that. 1st can was meh. 3 weeks later I thought it tasted significantly better and brighter.

Other Half releases a crap load of cans every Saturday and during week too. 95% of it can be obtained without waiting in line. Why in the world is anyone waiting in line for beer there any more?

Dropping in to say Kolsch is my Cologne is one of the worst beers I've had in a while and I'm a huge Kolsch fan...disappointing to say the least.

Floridians are the worst, the BAIGCCS release was a total disaster, hence Rice Proxy Treats lol.

Have the day off but need to get home earlier rather than later. Having some sips on a nice cool August day in line. Got to try fob4 for free.

    Shame on; enjoy your workday.

The point is that if people didn’t line up for beer that is sure to last the day you would still be able to show up at opening and be out in a few short minutes.

So you are standing in line for 2+ hours to get beer at 12 oclock so you can get home early when you could have just showed up at 12 and been home at the same time.

It’s a positive feedback loop: one person lines up and everyone else freaks out and runs there too early.

That point has been made for years, and no one cares. Herd gonna herd. Might as well enjoy it.

Last few releases I've been to, I've gotten there slightly after opening and I'm in and out in 10 min max. Arriving 2 hours beforehand is not necessary.

I think a good portion of the line goes there for the line share too. The rest of the people probably just don't look at BA so they don't know they can show up after opening and get what they want.

Right and I can get that. However most people defend their line life by claiming they “need to be home early”. Lets call a spade a spade and just be real: they like getting drunk on a sidewalk in the morning. To each their own.

Line shares are fine, I just question whether they need to start two hours or more before the brewery opens.

Oh I would probably be there too if I was off, haven't been to a line share in a couple of months. That is the part I miss about it, not the waiting to buy beer.

This is the real reason many people still line up. Geez just get drunk inside or at home people. Meet up and trade but drinking in line is shady, especially for people who can legally drink.

Just got here. Line is still wrapped around to Garnet and barely moving. Was hoping they opened a bit early. Oh well.
