What's King Sue selling for? Shop I tried today said they aren't getting any. I'll have to try another tomorrow unless it's too much $

 

$21 a four pack at Sudbury Craft Beer. Better than expected.

 

I'd still buy it at that price, but damn, it's so sad that we consider $21 "better than expected".

Yowsa one CAN limit for King Sue at Nikki's in Providence today. If they're releasing it as such I'm guessing RI got like single digit cases for the state.

Rapid currently has a medium sized bookshelf full of beers marked down 15%. Much of it was stouts, wilds/sours, and barrel aged stuff that shouldn't be affected too much by age. There were a bunch of Bruery and CBC bombers, some Sunday Mole Stout 4 packs, and a bunch of Banded Horn's stout. Other stuff too but that's all I remember (I grabbed a couple CBC's myself).

I also grabbed some of Harpoon's Juicer for the first time and it's pretty good. Better than Sam Adam's version I'd say (and I like SA's just fine).

 

What was once the most polarizing beer in New England is now in fridges in Boston. I kinda want to buy a can just to see what it's all about.

 

I don't know the backstory of this beer and it sounds juicy (errr, no pun intended). Would you mind giving a brief summary?
