I doubt there are many other breweries offering no-hassle access to fresh cans of world-class beer, along with a large selection of ridiculous and overlooked bottled saisons and lagers, and 2 different restaurants with 2 entirely different food menus, taplists, and vibes, all within a 5 minute walk of one another.

I don't really want to oversell it or anything, but Tired Hands' corner of Ardmore does seem to offer more than just about any other brewery I can think of. Well, they don't have a tour, I guess, but I doubt I'm alone in having my craft beer journey include a brief period of going on lots of brewery tours, followed by years of never caring if I see the inside of another brewery again.

There are plenty of beer (and more so food) options worth checking out in Fishtown outside of Tired Hands, and there are some bars there that have Tired Hands on tap (not to mention a recent influx of Hill Farmstead).

My point was just that it seems odd to give Tired Hands credit for things that historically most breweries were just expected to do.

While I understand your argument about the quality of the beer compared to other breweries, they really only have the "world-class" reputation for two styles of beer - hazy IPAs and saisons. Victory and Sly Fox make better German-style lagers (at half the price), Yards and Forest & Main make better British style beers, etc. Even with the IPAs, I personally have preferred some of Hidden River's and Stickman's offerings but the former is lacking in packaged beer and the latter only recently added food.

Agreed on that point, except for a historical brewery.
