Did it sell out?

 

They still had it in the board at the Cellar at closing yesterday. Not sure if the brewery sold out or not

 

The folks at the DB Carpathian release started rolling in around noon and kept the line a bit long for a while.

I'm not sure why it was only 2pp with the low crowd, waiting twice through line in that heat was brutal. Then they changed it to 4pp after a while I sure wish they had done it earlier.

Cory was not there so maybe that was it?

 

Again, I wish they would quit toying with the allocations at releases. Seems unfair that people who took the time to wait in line and attend the release were allowed to buy less than people who casually strolled in later in the day.

In my case, I got back in town Saturday night so I showed up at noon Sunday to try to get some of the "very limited amount" that was still available. Despite a relatively short line, it still sold out before I could get some since it was still 4pp. Maybe it would have made sense to lower the allocation back to 2pp since they only had less than 4 cases available at open (to my understanding). Or if they had just made it 4pp from the start (which would have been more fair to everyone) it would have sold out yesterday and I wouldn't have had false hopes and wasted time going down there and coming back empty handed.

 

perhaps there’s still some at the cellar come tuesday?

Several brewers or brewery employees have told me this. But like I said, it may no longer be accurate. I haven’t kept up to date or anything on this issue.
