Is this brewery's overall rating correct?

    The 3.65 rating for this brewery seems low https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/50093/?view=beers so I'm wondering if there's a problem in the programming. The Places average is 4.79 and I calculate the beer average is 4.22. The explanation of how the overall score is calculated is defined as the average of these two numbers (if I'm understanding it correctly) thus the overall rating should be 4.50.

    Just eyeballing the beer scores, they average way below 4.

    The BA Score for a brewery is the average rating across all active beers, which in this case is 3.65. That's it. And it has nothing to do with any place ratings for the brewery. The two numbers are completely separate.

    Yeah, I don't know how I got that 4.22 score. I should have just eyeballed it too! And it's nice to know that the Places score is not in that calculation. I always thought it was. Thanks for the comeback.
