    (old) News:

"You guys like cans. A lot.

...we're pumped to announce we're changing the packaging format for all of our hop forward beers (and recently extended to some other styles too) from 750ml / 25.4oz bottles into 16oz cans!

Batch sizes and case counts will go up as we get our legs under us.

Cans will be available at both breweries, but please note we won't be able to split the cases evenly on the same day as packaging for logistical reasons (so fewer cases available in Boston vs Canton on day of packaging). Thanks on behalf of the whole trillium team for your support to help us achieve this incredible milestone."

First two can releases in June (end of the month) were Congress Street and Melcher Street. Cans come in four packs but you can buy individual cans, if you like. Yes, the date is on the bottom.

    Trillium Can Spreadsheet:

@jimmyfausto created this awesomespreadsheet. In his own words:

I've been maintaining a spreadsheet for all Trillium can release information, including sell out times, hours/days available, and other notes. I know availability is a frequent topic here, especially for travelers and newbies, so I've made the google doc viewable by the below link. (Let me know if people have trouble accessing it)

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mmBOt3Bia-mo5gef5A7nENRkFSBx7NCVaSXbH9RYJ78/edit?usp=sharing

All sell out information is from Trillium's social media, unless noted. There have been rare occasions where they didn't post sell out times for a few beers, in which case I guessed the hours.

    New Hours at Canton:

"OUR NEW HOURS RESOLUTION It's a new year! Time for a Team Trillium resolution: make Canton more awesome. We've always felt like party poopers shouting "last call" every Friday night, so starting tomorrow (1/6) Canton will now be open until 10PM on Fridays & Saturdays! And EVERY Sunday from 12PM-5PM! Cheers to more beer, more food trucks, and more fun in 2017."

Please note that LAST CALL is 30 minutes before closing! This applies to Canton site only.

Reminder: Fort Point site does NOT offer any on premises drinking.

Trillium Garden: Now open for the 2018 Season!

This beer garden is operated by Trillium on the Greenway. Serving beer by Trillium & wines by Westport Rivers Winery!

Draft pours only. The Fort Point location is a short walk nearby for growler fills and bottle sales.

    Hours:

    Wed - Fri: 2-10p
    Sat: 11-10p
    Sun: 1-8p

    Please Note:

at the Trillium Garden is 30-45 minutes before close, pending capacity! We are open subject to weather, so please FOLLOW us on Twitter for closures & delays.

FYI the FP hours listed in your FAQ are outdated. They’ve been open Sunday’s for awhile. Cheers.

I appreciate you bringing it to my attention. Hopefully the MODS can fix it for me, otherwise I'll fix it next month. I did fix the hours at Trillium Gardens though but missed FP. :stuck_out_tongue:

I'm enjoying it. I always skip these weekend releases, but it seemed pretty quiet based off their twitter posts late afternoon so headed over to Fort Point. In and out in 5 minutes. When I was there, one of the Trillium folks said the line in the morning was wrapped around the block to Melcher Street. Totally insane

Went around 5 or so to Canton. No line in and out in 5 min. Got a 4 pack of the collab and half growler of perm 61. Drank the growler. That was one of the best trill IPA I’ve had in a while.

I'm sorry but Trillium's layout for today's line is absurd

Serving pours in the middle of the line? Do they think we just love to sit in line and wait for the person ahead of us to take 10 mins to choose if they want something? Multiply that situation for every person in line (450) and that's our life right now.

Keep the pours for the bar and for everyone else ON the patio. The people in line just want to get out of there.

So tired of breweries just not gaf about how to move the line more efficiently. It's not rocket science at all.

Yeah this is genuinely the worst line situation I’ve ever seen for Trillium.

In from out of town and got a little aggressive, have some extra Insert and Tree House if willing to meet in downtown Boston tomorrow.

What would have been a cool patio design is to actually extend the deck a little further back and have the line snake behind the bar, that way it leaves regular patio traffic open access to the bar, and on days where it makes sense allow those in line to get pours as they wait from the other side of the outdoor bar. Preferably with a mobile iPad cashier just ahead of the bar who can take orders from those in line before they even get to the bar to help keep things moving. But honestly I'd just be happy with a line that doesn't snake through the direct middle of the space both inside and out.

Today was just about the most absurd beer line ive ever been in, close to tied with Good Friday at tree house this year

The line was stopped just passed the patio bar. You got the pour and hopped right back in line. There was no delay caused by pours on the patio. It was the same exact setup for headroom.

First time trying the new recipe for Trill's IPA's and I'm confused. Is this a pilsner recipe mixed with hops? Tiny Chicken has a very weird taste to it

I know they hired a new production director in the last year. I wonder if this is partially their influence. I'm not wild on it personally. They're kind of fun for a 5 oz pour, but I'm not big on IPAs over 8ish%

Yeah definitely not fun to polish off one by yourself unless you’re trying to get drunk lol. I like bringing them to shares and splitting them though. The old production director got poached by Sixpoint right?

My wife and I went to Canton Sunday right after they opened.
We were heading into Boston for the Pearl Jam show and I figured it could be a little nuts there, but I wasn't prepared for size of the line. I did score major brownie points from my better half when I told her there was no way we were waiting in that line.
