Good morning BA, have a good Labor day. I will still be doing some work from home today. I have some data reports due by the evening. I always seem to luck out on the plant order timing, happened on Christmas last year too.

Amazing milkshake DIPA! Aromas and flavors of huge tangerine, orange juice, grapefruit, blackberry, blueberry, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, citrus peel/zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate vanilla, cream, wheat, biscuit dough malt sweetness; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal. grassy, spicy bitterness; and slight fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; very creamy/silky/bready malt/lactose, light sticky hops, and slight lingering resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Great soft feel, not aggressive. Dangerously smooth, minimal warming 8.6%. Awesomely juicy/light dank Mosaic hops with nice Blackberry presence; great wheat/oat/malt and vanilla/lactose balance, no overly sweet/heavy from lingering bitter dryness. Got a full pack right after I reviewed it.

Fantastic! Flavors of huge dark chocolate, cocoa, dark roasted coffee, caramel, maple syrup, wood smoke, brown sugar, toffee, molasses, nuttiness, and toasted dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of vanilla, charcoal, leather, cherry, raisin, prune, berry, and herbal/peppery hops. Light roast/char and herbal/wood/spicy bitterness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and very full body; with a very creamy, silky, velvety, and rich mouthfeel that is amazing. Light sticky hops, chalky char/roast, and increasing bitter/roasted dryness. Never acrid/astringent. Dangerously smooth, mildly increasing warmth of 11.1%. Super rich and complex with fantastic balance between coffee, maple syrup, and black/roast malts. Not nearly as impressive as any of the Beer geek 10+% offerings, but still really outstanding.

Found yet another new amazing band last night. Progressive/Power metal from Denmark.

Omnipollo Zodiak Multiverse NEDIPA. This was fantastic! Amazing head retention and thick soapy lacing the whole glass. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, orange juice, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate wheat, biscuit dough, light honeyed malt sweetness; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Very mild pine, zesty, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; very creamy/silky/bready/grainy malts and light sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness. No hop astringency. Amazingly smooth/soft finish, minimal warming 8%. Assuming this is just imperial Zodiak. Simcoe, Citra, Centennial hops. Insanely juicy and lightly dank/earthy hop complexity; perfect wheat/oat/malt backbone, not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. Glad I was able to find a 4 pack yesterday. Stellar stuff for the style. Should revisit the base beer again.

Fantastic American barleywine as always. Flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, orange peel, citrus rind, raisin, plum, fig, date, pepper, wood, and piney hops; with balanced caramel, brown sugar, toffee, toasted biscuit malt sweetness; herbal, floral, grassy hop and yeasty earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; very creamy/bready malt mouthfeel, fairly sticky hops, light slickness/resins. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Mildly warming 10.2%. I used to only buy this to age and drink after a few years of aged. This is really outstanding fresher as well. Not overly hoppy or aggressively bitter/drying like some others in the style. Definitely Centennial hops, balanced with fruity yeast and dark/bready malt sweetness. Very smooth sipper. A style classic. Coming up on a year old soon.

    Good morning BA
I'd like to raise this glass to the hardworking men and women of the UAW local 3044. They work in tough conditions to produce steel that provides my paycheck.

An appropriate union made beer. Ironically, I'm headed to my mother in law's lake place to "labor" with limited cell service. See you all later today. Cheers!

Bright yellow color with white cap and above average lacing.

Pleasant, spicy, lemony aroma where the citrusy stuff steps up and politely introduce themselves. Little detectable in the way of hops or malt but lovely scent.

Taste follows the aroma, no surprises here, hey, it is a Summer Wheat Ale. Blends in well yet still stands out a bit in the crowd. Slightly rich without being sweet and more complex than the label would indicate. Lemon and spice and everything nice, a pleasant interlude.
