Sand City Brewing (2018)

I’m thinking Red Sand which is my least favorite beer from them.

 

It was actually Infinity Minus ONE + 2. I'll admit my friends give it a 4.15 and overall it gets a 4.33 but I didn't even rate it and said it's terrible, it smells and tastes of buttered popcorn. One of the worst beers I've had in a long time.

Not sure if they can date, I think I would have looked, but I had it 3/25/18.

 

Sorry if this is covered elsewhere in the thread, but are Sand City cans distro'd anywhere in the greater NYC metro area?

 

Unfortunately not, brewery only.

 

To answer question - some kegs (and cans - though that was at Fools Gold - not sure if that’s some sort of special relationship / one off) do make it to NYC. Not super widespread though. Beermenus shows a couple of things at the moment

Having never really been to Sand City for other than grabbing cans, I am looking to meet a young lady there for lunch. I know they dont serve food but any food trucks? Or nearby lunch places perhaps to soak up that ....sand.

 

Love this beer, but it is super green now. This one will evolve nicely over time.

 

How much time would you give it?

Depends how much you got, if you got a lot , drink some along the way starting now. But I would say about a week.

 

Just had a can of infinity minus one plus two. Wow. Smell straight tropical /peach juice. Very tasty, definitely one of the best IPAs I’ve had from them (since Soylent green & radical one).

 

Smoothing out nicely now, awesome smell.

 

Anyone try the pumpkin ale yet?

 

Infinity reaching its peak now, so good.

 

I am 2 in , awesome beer. Sand City’s best!! Ranks up there with areas best.
