What beer are you drinking now? #2148

4 Hands Smooth Operator. Milkshake IPA with mango & vanilla. I’m seeing this is labeled as a New England IPA on BA. I guess this my 18th of those. Saw that fruit & vegetable beers were now “Fruit & Field Beers”. I’ll have to see what else is up. Haven’t had a Brut IPA.

Some times life just works in your favor, today after work I decided to go to my local record store and check out what they had in stock (picked up Tom Petty’s Greatest Hit and Foo Foghter - Concert and Gold on vinyl). When I left the record store I saw I still had 15 minutes on my meter so I went a few doors down to a bottle shop that usual has a good selection hoping to find Curmudgeon’s Better Half, but I found some far more special, Cantillon Gueuze just sitting out in the open

Price was a little on the high side, but being that I haven’t had a chance to buy any Cantillon in the US in over 3 years I just said “shut up and take my money”!

I have to say I love a great Gueuze and this is one of the best, I feel it is very hard to match the balance and complexity of a beee like this, cheer!

 

NYS for me. I have a store close by, just over the border in Tappan (Craft 303). The must get deliveries directly from IA, because they carry more varieties than anyone in the area. Today I went for some more Week 104, but was thrilled to see this one there, too. Going back for more this weekend .
