What beer are you drinking now? #2148

As much as I love fresh IPAs, I have to say fresh beer isn’t everything. Enjoying some 2017 BCBCS, it is still great!! Today the “freshest” beer I had, based on bottle date, was 1 year and 1 day old, and everyone of these beers were more complex and just as tasty as any IPA I’ve tried that will fall off after 2 months in the best cases, cheers!

Have to be getting to bed this will be my last beer post tonight.

 

Last beer before I start gaming RE6. I might try to do a couple more review beers tonight, just depends on how hooked I get.



This one was fairly average. Some interesting peppery notes but the clove was subdued and the beer comes across a little...well...average. 3.67 out of 5.

 

It keeps getting better and better. I would say that given the context (we know 75%+ how everything plays out) that BCS is better than Breaking Bad. The characters and their archa are all stellar. You should really dig this last episode. Very Tarantino esque

Generally speaking, Magnify's IPAs are great when fresh but don't age particularly well. I had On and On on its release day and rated it 4.06. But I can understand that it hasn't stood up well after a month.

 

I realize it’s a BCBS, but I love your enthusiasm! Two months/weeks/days, haha, wink wink, nod—eh, y’all get the rest.

It has turned out to be a perfect evening, so I’m spending it outside in the darkness. No music. Just the constant hum of crickets and cicadas, the occasional dog bark, and a sprinkler system or two. Real fucking suburban.





@Beersnake1 This Darkest Hour aged 15 months in whiskey barrels with coffee and cascara is one beer from Anchorage that I did NOT pass up on.

 

It was not, of that I am sure, but whichever it was, we recall having fun. When we doing the DFH 120 Minute vertical?

 

That is still my favorite cigar to date.

 

Up next for me is Tree House's Aaalterrr Ego...Huge improvement on the original..A lot more smooth.
