Twin Cities Bottle Hunt - 2018

I got there at 945 for nillerz and didn't check out til around 1215/1230

 

There was a small keg of Breakfast Nook at Ansari's in Eagan yesterday. Beer was ok but not better than regular BCBS. Was very boozy too.

 

Had Breakfast Nook last night. I wouldn't compare it to BCBS, it was heavy on the coffee and maple. I thought it was pretty tasty, but I didn't stand in line for it...so YMMV.

 

big top liquors midway apparently has double shot double black on closeout.. $10 a bottle.

 

I was there Friday night and it was $19! Looked like they had a ton of it in that shopping cart.

 

they posted it on FB about an hour ago.

and yes, based on the pic, looks like 22 bottles.

 

Not a bottle hunt just a shout out. Just finished A Schells Cave Aged BA Lager #4 have to say 1 of the best brews ive had all year. @bergbrew

 

DDH sold out quick. Still have 1 Double and a few Irregardless left.

 

Is that this year's edition?

 

Last year's I only bought one bottle (so sad). It was very good thou.

Most places are $18 plus tax, so bring a $20 for that 4-pak APA.

 

Is BAM Nectar a new year round or a one time brew?
Pricing any non BA beer at $18+ is crazy to me but I guess the hop head will pay it so I can't blame these breweries for the high prices. The older I get the more I find Schell's and Summit beer in my beer frig.

 

I think its been batched B4. This is first time canning. $20 for a 4PK APA out the door is insane..

 

BAM Nectar is $11.99/4pk at F44. Not sure where/why you're seeing $18.
