Found this 12-pack at my local go-to beer store for $14.99, and SN did not disappoint. Was the first time I’ve had the Tumbler and I liked it more than I thought I would. Brown ales are often a let down - but this was flavorful and well balanced. Torpedo was excellent, as always!

Where did you see that (other than Total Wine)?

I just swung by a local liquor store in Cambridge, which is known to be one of the cheaper ones in Somerville/Cambridge (where I live). The Fall Mix pack was $16.40.

Our draft prices are also significantly more expensive as well. This is what I meant when I said "Boston" prices.

I think you will agree that is cheaper than the $20 price here (plus 6% sales tax).

    Cheers!

I was looking back through the thread to find the cost in PA, but couldn't find it amongst all the Beer Camp price talk.

Yup, you "win". That really sucks. I'm sure I could find a $20 mix pack in Somerville/Cambridge as that was a "cheaper" store, but I don't think that would be the norm.

What do you typically pay for a SN six pack?

$10.50 now, in some places still $9.99 but most have bumped up.

We pay ~$10 too. I wonder why the discrepancy with the mix pack?

Cambridge Wine and Spirits has I believe all their SN 12 packs at $13.99. I saw the Fall Pack, Oktoberfest collab, Torpedo, and Pale Ale available. Probably the best beer deal in the store, as a lot of their other prices are on the expensive side.

Marty’s Wine in Newton was the other place. They have a pretty good selection of 12 packs and beer in general, but also aren’t known for their prices except for the occasional sale item.

Draft prices are definitely high all over, though. I find that wine, beer, and cocktail prices all overlap at a lot of places these days and are all into double digits for the higher end options.

Yeah it's weird, just a cash grab I suppose.

    Ah, good to know.

I mostly shop at Ball Square (that's not where I saw the fall pack for $16.40 though) because I've shopped there for years and I like those guys. Plus you can make a mix-a-six of anything in the store.

    $14.99 here in Atlanta.

Great price for all the beers included. Not going to lie though, I’d rather have Flipside than Ruthless. I miss that beer.

It rules that Louisiana never gets these mixed packs. I mean why enjoy Sierra Nevada's world class beers when I could drink another sixer of the local oxidized haze trash that all the other morons CTRL+V on in their rotation.

Me and @JackHorzempa have been wondering for years. @SierraTerence said he would look into it but no real answer thus far.

My personal thought on it is that if Sierra Nevada sold for regular prices in Pennsylvania it would but all others at a disadvantage. Thus to protect their portfolio as a whole the distributors have a gentlemen's agreement to keep prices high.

Hmm, that sure does sound like collusion (real collusion) to me.:grimacing:

    Non-cheers to collusion!

You guys could “collude” to not buy the mix packs.

Years ago the son of a major distributor, a classmate of mine, told me getting a dealership was like a license to print money. As long as we allow a State to be cut up into exclusive distribution areas we will have distributors engaging in mutual back scratching. Take away that and we'll see some price competition.

I've had one of each, all 4 good beers I'll happily drink again. I might have to pickup one more, I like the mix of hoppy and brown for fall

Local place by me has 14.99 12 packs of SN for September. Between this and Octoberfest, good timing for me

Here in NY I paid $40.82 (including tax) for this 12-pack and a 12-pack of the SN/Weihenstephan Oktoberfest, so probably $17.99-$18.49 each. :grimacing:

Saw the 12 packs of Fall mix pack this week.$19.99, it would be an instant buy but I had 50 other similar priced options to consider.
