They are (nearly up to?) 12 variants this year, just need to get back to 12oz bottles (or cans) and then remove "Chicagoland Only" from the interesting sounding ones

Pretty sure I had a Von Trapp variety pack last year...but I drink so I may be mistaken. I like variety packs but I don't like that they always come with the brewers high volume standard beers. SN always has its Pale Ale, Jack Abbey has house lager and Sam Adams always has Boston Lager. I can get those anytime, so I always feel slighted that they are in my variety pack.

My ideal variety pack for the fall would be something that explores dark German lager styles. I like these but never can find them easily.

I would add St. Victorious to that and knock out Uncle Teddy's, which must be served on cask!

Von Trapp does (or at least at one point did) make a variety pack. I don't recall seeing it on the shelves in MA in a while though.

    Style specific:
    3x Weizenbock
    3x Dopplebock
    3x Maibock / Helles Bock
    3x Eisbock

    or
    German specific:
    3x Pilsner
    3x Gose
    3x Hefeweizen
    3x Dunkelweizen

As for the various Victory Variety packs, for the Kick Back Can 15 pack, I'd swap out Sour Monkey and replace it with Kirsch Gose, which is now available in cans, good for coolers/summer, and a personal favorite.

For their Taste Victory pack, I'd replace Vital IPA with Headwaters or Helles Lager.

A bunch of English milds would do it for me. Failing that, I'd like to see a mixed 12-pack of Oktoberfest beers all from different breweries.

I saw someone post a case mix pack of octoberfests they got at a store, I believe if was on the Oktoberfest themed thread. I love your idea of English milds too.

What about 12 twelve oz bottles of 12 different 50/50 Eclipse ba stouts???

Edit: for the low low price of 12.99. More realistically, 129.99.

Smuttynose has the only mix-pack that I buy on a regular basis. It usually has Old Brown Dog brown ale, Shoals Pale Ale, Finest Kind IPA, and one rotating beer by season. I try to buy when the 4th beer is Robust Porter which makes almost a perfect mix. My dream mix might include Vunderbar Pils, Rhye IPA or Summer IPA in place of OBD and Shoals PA.
