You check the date? Maybe it was 6 days old or something ancient like that

With today’s HS release coursing through my veins, I’m feeling particularly virile and looking to sow my oats further afield!

Heh, it was canned a day or two prior. Then I had another a week later. Both times awful.

Anyone notice the price of Punge has crept up to $22? It was $18 at it's first release, no?

Right on.. I also noticed the price of shakes coming down to the old school prices of $22/4pk.. Imagine that.

That thing got a canning date on it, or is it more of a "crack it and pray it's fresh" kind of thing?

I'd love to know as well - I'll be in SE PA tomorrow for work and was planning to stop by Tired Hands, but could easily detour. I was planning to visit Modern Times in Portland in October, but I'd love an early taste!

Out in the burbs I know that Beer Yard in Wayne gets some Modern Times as well as Kunda in kop.

Exton Beverage has modern times as well. Not sure of the one listed in the picture. I usually pass on it based on canning dates. There's so much old beer around everywhere.

It looks like Kunda is about 1/2 mile down the street from the job site I need to visit. Even if they don't have this one, thanks for the tip!

As a heads up a new brewery (Workhorse Brewing) is opening this Friday (9/14) and it is nearby.

The owner/manager of Kunda (Chris Kunda) went to a soft opening of Workhorse last weekend and he said he enjoyed the beers.

    Cheers!

CJs Doghouse in Lansdale got in cans of Space Ways, Blazing World, Orderville. They price everything as singles in coolers, but the math on those were $12 to $16 a 4-pack. All canned late August.

Blazing World is a great hoppy amber if you're into that type of beer, which I am.
