It seems like more of an issue of you guys taking critiques of those kinds of people personally.

A brewery and its mules are not above criticism. “If you don’t like it shut up and drink your Swami’s” is a worthless and condescending deflection. Especially when you’re conflating the warranted issues people have of the release in question.

Nobody has taken personal shots at BA members’ opinions (partially because there haven’t been any actual reviews from BA members). You’re reading issues with hypebeast traders and assuming it’s personal.

Anyway, I feel like I’ve been aiding in the last few pages being unreadable due to responding to posts misconstruing what I said so I’m gonna bail out of the convo for the rest of the night. Cheers.

Want a review? I enjoyed it... a lot.

Best beer I've ever had? No. My heart belongs to Zenne.

Best stout I've ever had? No, but it was pretty high up there. My favorites go to 3 Sons and IWAAD but haven't had SP's Derivations or some of the TG heavy hitters.

Was it light on barrel? Yes... but *I* liked it. I enjoyed IWAAD more, had more barrel but, as I mentioned before, I don't like beers that run hot from the barrel so I'd much rather have Faha than something that is boozy from the barrel.

It was better than any beer I've had from Beachwood, Abnormal or Bottle Logic.

Since we all can’t get along...Maybe we should just have separate forums for those who are upper class BA members who drink top caliber beers and crack whales on a daily basis and lower class members (peasants) who drink shelfies and actually still buy beer from a liquor store. Each can stick to their own forum and no more name calling.

 

Hahaha... having the bottles and cracking them are two very different things. I generally crack beers from my memberships or things I've picked up along the way from stores or trades on the daily, my big beers are all very special occasion beers.

I still like your idea though.
