Bourbon County Stout in DC/VA this week?

Yeah I don't get how VA hasn't seen it yet.

 

I was maybe thinking last week but it's gottttaaa be this week. Va. always seems so delayed with a lot of releases. The amount DC got though I have pretty high hopes.

 

Anyone here about distribution in VA yet?

 

Last I heard VA (NOVA anyway) isn't going to get any which seems to hold true at this point. Who knows though, I'll ask again today when I go pick up some beers.

 

If DC has an amount I'd like to call "Metric Crap-Tons" and NoVA has "zero", why not drive 20min down the road into DC and buy some in DC?

Seems like a non-issue whether NoVA gets any or not at this point.

 

Stopped into Chevy Chase yesterday and they still had plenty of single bottles for $7.50 a piece.

 

Just grabbed two 4 packs at Rodmans in NW for 26 bucks including tax. They had 3 packs left and about 12 singles

 

This will arrive in VA. Generally, new releases lag behind DC by 2-4 weeks.

 

Was just in Romdan's this afternoon and had about 6 4-packs left for $26 including tax as well as selling individual bottles for $8.99.

 

There are at least four cases left at the Magruder's near the Chevy Chase store. Somewhere between $22-24 per four-pack with no limit. They often get some good stuff in; I always go there first, and then to Chevy Chase when I'm in the area.

 

That's not true. I bought a bottle at two different stores in MA this year! Where do you get your information from?

 

Well, I made that post before the miniscule amount got to MA. I have family and friends up there, plus I keep tabs on a couple of beer stores near them.

Another week and still no BCBS in VA. Does anyone have any updates?

 

I thought I had heard Rick's had it last week.

 

They did post about the variants but to my knowledge they didn't get any.

 

I have no idea. A friend of mine told me that Rick's had gotten some and he was going to pick some up. I didn't didn't find out more because I really need another 4 pack of beer, especially since I had just come across a ton of 2008 bottles of Flying Dog's Horn Dog and a couple 4 packs of the original Old Dominion Millennium barleywine from 2008 and 2009.
