    Update: Place IS gorgeous. Plenty of space for bar/table seating, two patios (one overlooking the golf course), solid food available and the beer is damn good. And not only is the beer good, but there's real, actual variety on the taplist. They've got a nice double IPA and a nice tropical pale ale (galaxy and ella) but they've also got a blonde, a Czech pils, a non-adjunct stout, a black IPA (with nelson), a common (!) and an ESB(!!!). I'll be spending a lot of time here.

    In Memoriam Pooh-Bah Trader

    Opened to the public this past weekend in my area (Mid Hudson Valley) are

    -Gardiner Brewing Company, located in an outbuilding at Wright's Farm
    -Sloop Brewing Company opened their new, much larger facility in Fishkill

    Looking forward to checking both of these out.

    Untied Brewing doesn't seem to update their website but there a lot of photos on their Facebook page. Look like they are making progress.

    212 Brewing out of Manhattan just bought Olde Saratoga's building and equipment and plan to re-brand and re-open a taproom. I don't know what the timeline is there but the taproom was open as of nine months ago so there shouldn't be THAT much work to be done.

    Somerville is a perfect spot for a brewery or a brewpub, especially given their Cruise Nights in the summer.

    They've been claiming it will open in Fall 2018 but I have my doubts, just based on how things don't always move quickly in Somerville. However, there are some progress photos on their facebook page.

    It's really terrific right now. And I forgot to even mention in here -- Common Roots is planning on opening a second location in Troy, about a mile down the road from Browns and right across the street from one of the best wing spots in the area. Life is good.
