    I mean I don't think I've paid anything over $17/4 pack?

Eh, Gggreennn and In Perpetuity are all selling right now at about $18 a 4-pack. Hurricane too. All of those beers are better than Julius, particularly after the move, and comparable to Alien Church both in ABV and price. And you don't have to invest 2-3 hours of your time to get AC, either. Tree House's Pale Ale that they're selling right now is the same price as HopHands, too.

Tree House isn't much cheaper, if they're cheaper at all for many of their beers. And they crank out much higher volume of cans and are out in the middle of nowhere.

Really? Maybe I'm just swayed by a combination of single-can pricing plus being in the city but I regularly see them go for $7.50 per, as much as $9.00, and probably $6.00 per being the lowest.

Just went to grab my last can of Sustained Transient Self and the can is all sucked in on itself like it was underfilled or something. There doesn't appear to be any leakage. No pool in the fridge or stickiness on the can or anything like that.

Anyone else seen something like this?

Opened it and the volume was maybe a little low, but not so much so that I would have noticed anything of the can weren't so soft and squishy.

It has a canned on date of 08/17/2018, so still a little shy of a month, as if that should matter.

It probably froze and melted. Same thing happened to me last month with some Tree House beers I had in the back of my fridge. Apparently you can't just stack the back of your fridge to the brim with pounders. Air flow actually matters.

Kunda was a great recommendation, they had the Modern Times and I was able to grab some other goodies too. Beer stores have come a long way since I lived in West Chester in the early 2000s!

Really, really enjoying Punge right now. I wish I could have grabbed more than one 4-pack but I was pushing the limit on my small suitcase as it was. It’s scarligous I know, but I’m drinking it straight from the can right now on my boat and I have to say it’s even more aromatic and flavorful than the glass I poured last night.

At the risk of stating the obvious, is the ease as of late due in large part to the size of these releases? I noticed each beer in this one was at least 300 cases, whereas months ago I’d see them in the low 200s, or even less. Not complaining in any way, as my monthly trip means I can only make it on a Thursday afternoon.

Guess I’m the only one not doing backflips over Punge. It’s good, but not great IMO.

Does anybody happen to know which bars in NYC might get Tired Hands on tap? Or could tell me how I might be able to find out? I'm going to NYC sometime this fall and I want to hit up some great beer bars, and I know Tired Hands is on tap at least occasionally in some bars around Philly and NYC.

I noticed in their recent post that Trendler/Helles are now exclusively German ingredients. From what I remember Trendler always had Citra in it.

I haven't had either in a long time. Have they improved? They always seemed just okay before, tasty but not worth the price...and not very "german" tasting.

I liked this last batch of Trendler a lot more than the Helles. I can't really pin down why but maybe it was that the Pils was that much more refreshing on a hot day and the Helles was a little heavier?

    Sweet! Thanks a lot.

I noticed that, too. There was also no mention of wheat in the post about Trendler. I wonder if they changed the recipe?

Had an Omelas to go along with the Eagles game on Sunday. The game did not ruin it. That beer is stellar and at $10 a bottle it's a very good deal. Very reminiscent of a Hill Farmstead saison. I highly recommend it.

It's my understanding that both the recent batches of Helles and Trendler Pils have been exclusively using German malt and hops. I believe one of the hops that has been used in brewing the Pils is a hybrid know as Huell Melon. Also, the most recent batches since the spring have been lagered in the new horizontal lagering tanks at Fermentaria.

I’m up in Michigan and my fath-n-law will be traveling to Pennsylvania tomorrow. He will be near Tired Hands later this week. I’ve asked him to grab some cans (Alien Church really want to try). I was fortunate to try Extra vanilla milkshake awhile back so really looking to try some more ipas. My question is that TH website or TH Facebook the best place to search for cans available? Are there certain days can are released. I don’t expect him to stand in lines for long wait on cans either. Just trying to get an idea of what he maybe able to scoop up. Thanks in advance!
