Madness release will include 8 different beers according to Wakefield own IG

 

So Madness, Cuvee, Boss, Two Double Dragon variants...what are the other 3...wonder if Double La Nada drops :-)

Double dragon

One is bba with coconut

The other is bba with vanilla

 

And both are 500ml bottles :-)

 

and most probably $25 each

 

Wakefield added "Whiskey Barrel Ryevan Drago" to newly create beers on Untappd...that could be the 6th bottle...

 

Damn I'm going to be there the weekend prior to all of this for the first time. If there is limited time in my schedule is it still worth a stop for their current lineup?

 

If you like sours...yes...not sure he'll have any stouts on tap the week before but you may get lucky...

 

They just put a keg of 2018 Madness on for pours

 

I've been to JWB, but never for a release. Any thoughts on how crazy the lines will be on the 29th? Want a shot at each bottle, but not really interested in lining up at 2am.

 

Last year for Madness I got all bottles by showing up at 7a...however lines seem to be getting crazier down there so there will be plenty of 2a peeps...and it all depends on the remaining mystery bottles...the Double La Nada from last year's release was a heavy hit and only 300 or so bottle count...

 

It just depends how long you want to wait to have bottles in hand .

 

For what it's worth, last year I showed up around 1:30pm and there were still unlimited Miami Madness and Ryevan Drago, though they ran out of everything else. I'd think 4/5am should guarantee you every bottle but you never know

Apple of my Pie is apparently an imperial stout w/ vanilla and cinnamon aged in cinnamon whiskey barrels

 

So what's the 8th?

 

As far as the 8 I think they're counting Double and Dragon as separate bottles even though they're a "set"
