New Colorado resident here, how does the Extended Family work? Am I way too late to try to join this year?

Page 44, I suggest you start reading. I’m afraid there isn’t a Cliffs Notes version.

When is the window to become a member, I'm aware that tickets for the party are a different thing.

I seem to recall it being later in the year. Keep an eye out around October or November.

In case others are looking, I found Saison (4/4/17), Low End, and Fruit Stand Cherry (Bing) in the cooler at Mr. B's at The Stanley today. Drank the Saison tonight. Fantastic stuff. Grabbed one of the last 2 Cherry I saw in the cooler. There were big stacks of Saison and Low End by the register.

In Denver (and also Basecamp in Frisco) I've seen quite a bit lately. It's no longer just the flagship stuff, too. I'd suspect Four Dogs and Aspen Liquor have likely seen more, too.

Basecamp in Frisco has a ton, including The Cut Grape, and Family Preserves Nectarine or Grape (all limit one), a few BB sours, Low End, and Saison. Boy are those fruited ones pricey. Not sure I want to drop the $35-40 or takes for one.

Hoping for some quick help - thinking of buying an 11:00 release/tour ticket for Velvet. Only problem is it's my last day in town and I have to be at the Denver airport around 3:30.

Is it realistic to plan to be in-and-out of a Casey "release/tour" in an hour?

    Thanks for any help!

First and foremost, he updated all social media posts stating that Velvet will be available October 4-7. NOT during GABF weekend.

Just making sure you're not planning around the mistaken initial social media post.

And to answer your question, personally I wouldn't feel comfortable with that timeframe. The tour/tasting is a 2-hour session. Sure, you can leave halfway though. But that gives you 3 hours and 30 minutes to get to DIA. That's doable, but if you hit any traffic or if there's an accident on 70, forget it - you won't make it.

I did an 11 am tour with a 5:30 flight out of Denver this May and I was ok, but I was sweating it. I was returning a rental car and checking a 12 shipper so I got to rental car return a little b4 4pm. FWIW.

Thanks for the replies! I think I’ll likely skip it - just don’t want the extra stress. Cheers!!

Any recent bottle shop sightings? I'm in Denver for one more night and would really love to take home a fruited sour and a Saison (dry hopped or not). But honestly, anything will do .

Small Batch. Mr. B’s. Mile High at Belmar. Grapevine. Those are your best bets.

I'd check out Mr. B's at the Stanley. I had great luck there earlier in the summer. They seemed to have quite a bit. I'm sure you can call tomorrow and ask.

Appreciate all of the advice guys/ladies! I called around, struck our everywhere and ended up taking a late night bus trip to the wrong Mile High bc they're the only ones that didn't answer the phone. Needless to say, the Mile High Liquors next to the stadium did NOT have any Casey, but I did have a very interesting late night bus adventure

Anyone have a picture of the limits for this weekend? Trying to plan out my necessary extra suitcase space.
