Modern Times Orderville Hazy Mosaic IPA as a much needed storm rolls in. It's all good!

 

Italian pilsner. Excellent stuff. Amazing lasting head retention and thick soapy lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of lemon, orange, grapefruit, citrus peel/zest, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate cracker, white bread, light biscuit malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. High carbonation, light-medium body, and moderately crisp/clean finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Slight resins. Moderate increasing bitter/carbonated dryness, no hop astringency. Perfectly clean lager flavors, no yeasty notes. Very flavorful/refreshing, 5.2%. Great balance of vibrant/earthy citrusy/noble hop complexity; with a nice clean pils malt backbone, and no residual sweetness. Pretty unique for the German style. 4.03


Another Big Lake. Very nice hazy IPA(specifically noted not NE). Awesome head retention/soapy lacing on the glass. Aromas and flavors of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, light peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light biscuit malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Pretty muted aromas. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and body; balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Light resins/rinds, light-moderate increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth, not aggressive, zero warming 5.6%. All Citra/Mosaic hops. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy balanced hop complexity; nice pale/wheat malt backbone; minimal residual sweetness from lingering dryness. Very similar to the Lake Haze. 3.88
