I think I may have heard about people doing this. Can anybody confirm? I’m going back to my homeland in MN for Thanksgiving so I won’t be able to wait in line at Binny’s :slight_frown:

If you could, none of us would be freezing our asses off right after T-Gives dinner.

Good point  ANOTHER QUESTION!!! Are the variants going to be at liquor stores in MN on Black Friday? Maybe I can super-freeze further north in Minneapolis!

You'll probably have better luck in MN than we will in Chicago. You just can't get Prop. That's Chicago only.

    Variants in stores? Yes.

Are you going to get them all? Don't count on it. Typically most stores that get them either dole them out one variant per person or sit on them for cellar sales later on. At that's assuming the store got them before they open for business on Friday. It's easier in Chicago to get them then Minneapolis that day.

    Happy reading, you're welcome.

A friend of mine is from Minneapolis and did Black Friday at a store there a couple years ago (2015?) and got at least 1 bottle of everything.

...and I've lined up at a Binny's for the past few years yet seem to end up further back each time. Word's out on the stuff.

If you know the right guy at the right store and spend enough there throughout the year they'll save you all kinds of stuff, including mass quantities of BCBS and variants!

I personally love the way B&C's does their BCS release. They're all about family and letting you enjoy your holidays.

Variants will be hit or miss. Some see wide distro, others (like Reserve last year) see far more limited distro.

No clue what the plan for them this year is but assuming a similar setup. Not every store is getting all of the non-Prop.

I love BCBS Black Friday or as it should be called "Supply Does Not Equal Demand Day". The most anti-American, non-consumer friendly holiday out there. I want to spend loads of money on a product, but industry just cannot make enough of it for me to find any.

Do they even do a release? If so that’d be sweet

Old news, but i think they still do it this way:

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dn...-bourbon-beers-bottles-cans-has-em-Sunday.amp

I know of a couple other bottle shops that hold back barrel aged stuff and release it at “holiday parties,” typically in a draft (not on draft, but people taking turns selecting single bottles) or lottery system (and sometimes with bottle shares).
