I don't know, but it's kind of embarrassing to claim we have a "beer scene" when all of these gems are just sitting there on the shelf not getting bought.

 

If they weren't so pricey, and I'm not saying they are out of line but maybe the market is, I would scoop up more. I wish they would do the Thursday night tastings more nights and run it like a winery tasting room but I get that you can't recork a beer bottle.

 

Discussing, no. Hoping based on supply/demand? Absolutely.

Beer is just a commodity. Low production, high demand equals high prices. Change one of those factors and other things change. Higher production eventually leads to less hype and overall lower demand which leads to......well you know. I'm simply wondering if that will be the case here.

 

Also I wish they reused that SARA culture from the collab, still kicking myself for not getting more Mannequin Throne, best bottle I've had from them in a while.

 

I sort of want a 4 pack of Invasive Species just for the can art, but not enough to make the hour trip to Ardmore. As a budding Entomologist, does anyone happen to have an extra can or two (empty or otherwise)?

 

Now if this can be the new norm...

 

I hear you. If they cared half as much about accessibility as they did propagating hype, I'd definitely pay them a visit.

Saw on Instagram they did a 22 beer tap takeover at War Pigs in Copenhagen. Trendler Pils was apparently the first keg to kick.

In other news: I’m not usually a fan of Session IPAs, but that Bird Galaxy Hole one is pretty good stuff.

 

For some reason the picture is not loading, but I assume it's a pic of Alien Church in the fridge at the GS. I was there yesteday, it looked beautiful.....kind of like Pulp Fiction and what was in the briefcase....but anyway it's not a permanent thing so I'm not counting on it to be......yet.

Still, it's a great start and it was awesome buying it from there. Now let's make it permanent TH!

PS: They still have cans of Severe Head Wound in the coolers from last week.....that's very rare.

Anyone know what the TH Harvest Beer Garden in Philadelphia is? Looks like they are looking for security people.

Originally there were grumblings that they were hoping to launch it in August, on Frankford Ave around Pizza Brain'ish IIRC. Assuming permit and logistics got in the way of that, but a Harvest Beer Garden sounds even cooler to me, not sure if location is/has been adjusted or just timeline.

 

Past the night, shakes recently have been lasting unitl Thursday. All depends on alottments, but they are producing them way more (seems like every other week) so supply is higher and on any given release demand is lower.

 

Looks like fresh Alien Church at the general store. Hopefully that is the new normal
