Bottle Logic Brewing (Q3 2018)

Could anyone offer up a comparison between this BW and some of the other well known BWs? Perhaps 2013, 2014, or 2017 BCBBW? JOs BWs? Straight Jacket (2017)?

I've not had the opportunity to try HoG, etc., so such comparisons would be lost on me, but they might be helpful for others.

I haven't had the opportunity to trade for a number of the BL beers I'd like to try due to the cost of admission. Just trying to get a better idea what this is like (comparatively) before I hit the ground hard.

 

Sight and Mind was delicious in my opinion, although straight jacket, B1K and older vintages of bcbbw are very very smooth and nuanced. I believe this beer although not fully there yet, in a year or two will be fantastic. Right now its fairly thick with lots of dark fruit,molasses and a sweet finish. I dont find it to be on the kuhnhenn spectrum which I would describe as darker, drier much more old world style

also got a crowler of Consider the Coconut, Too Sweet & Little to No Coconut IMO. We didn't even finish it at a share I was at on Tuesday, but then again we had Goshawk's Beans which BLEW MY MIND.

 

They did not sell out of either.

 

Glad to hear about Goshawk Beans, looking forward to trying them when I get them from my proxy.

what's the verdict on Roots of Muir!? Untappd has it at 4.27 RN with 42 reviews. thats pretty positive, if it's anything like 100 hand slap, I'm IN...

 

It's not like 100 hand slap but its ok. Just got a 4pk and cracked one open. Nose is nice but gotta try a lil to get a smell out, taste juicy and creamy with an herbal grassy finish. Kinda danky!?

I'm curious, are all those cans just stacked on your kitchen or room? How often do you dust them?
