1. I have never been to my target's state

Haul Hint#2
I just reviewed a beer from my local brewery (sic) that you will be getting.
Oh, and somebody else will be getting it too.

 

Most of my hints were either related to the username or local geography. A lot of blue references.

Hint 1 was the 65 piece eiffel tower puzzle... eiffel 65... blue was their one big hit.

Hint 2 was about dietary preferences. Not sure if fish counts as meat in your mind, but just to be safe I went a different direction.

Hint 3 was in reference to Redman Lake.

Hint 4... If my internet stalking plus logical guess was correct I would imagine you use I-83 to get to work... the 83... the driving... I think I had something for midnight city specifically but I can't remember what it was. This was arguably the most tenuous clue, and that's saying something!

Hint 5 features a Washingtonian wearing a blue jersey sporting number 00. It was actually mostly coincidence that he also happened to be playing for the Sixers at the time.

Hint 6 had two layers: first, according to google, your neighbourhood (or one very adjacent) is referred to as Leaders Heights. Leaders of the New School are from New York. You live in just plain old York. I think I had managed to come up with something to bring the school aspect in as well, but I don't remember.

Hint 7... Once I saw the name of your road, I knew there was going to be an Ahmad Jamal clue, because I dig the work of his I've heard. While trying to find the right song (Blue Moon because, again, Bl00), I discovered there was a rapper named Amad Jamal. I had to include it for the more correlated spelling, though I thought this one was going to give it away for sure.

Hint 8 was the final and was also a two-parter. Blue's Clues, for the blue connection again, but also Steve Burns, the host of Blue's Clues is from a couple of towns over in Pennsylvania, according to wikipedia.

Glad you got a kick out of them, half the fun of these things is always fiddling around with the hints (the other half obviously being the actual beer itself both incoming and outgoing)! I know I always have a blast trying to put them together, even though most of the time they're mostly nonsensical. One of these BIFs I'm going to actually plan them all out ahead and intentionally narrow and trap people instead of just finding things tangentially related to my target and hoping the connection makes sense (but not too much sense!) outside of my own head!
