Just wondering why this thread isn't popular/updated regularly as I feel everyone is going bonkers for the Vlads... Ive never been to a release but heard its pretty nuts with a good share.

It’s definitely weird there’s not more chatter about such a great brewery, esp with the Vlad craziness

Personally, I'm really only a fan of the Vlad series and the occasional good batch of Stratus. I am surprised the Vlad releases don't get some discussion on here though.

This is the beauty of having all these *popular" or "next big thing" breweries. While everyone else is chasing unproven beers, I can walk in to Binny's and get Ninja V. Unicorn or Lexical Gap or Prairie Madness or whatever other top of the line beer I want

Hailstorm brews some great stuff...Prairie Madness is their award winner, but the NE IPA's are very good, stouts have been great and Dominatrix (Triple IPA) is unreal.

People including myself wanted to keep all the Vlads for ourselves lol! Now you actually have to get there early to get bottles instead of strolling in some time in the afternoon.

Joking aside, they’ve been producing great stuff for years. Glad they’re getting the recognition they deserve now. I wish they would barrel age some other stuff as well, barrel aged lumberjack breakfast would be amazing! Keep the Vlads coming though. Looking forward to when they do VZS again.

Spumoni... sounds like R&D is still perfecting “Spam Tsunami,” the Hawaiian themed vlad with pineapple and spam.

Cherry, chocolate, and pistachio? I'd spumoni my pants for this beer.

I was just wondering the other day why I never see spumoni stouts. I'm pumped for this.

I would give them another try. Seriously. I did not like them early on but they have upped their game for the cloud series. Stratus being the best IMO.

Recently dropped two of the cloud series. I think Cumulus and Cirrus? Price looks good, but I went with Triptych this time.

My 2 cents...I've been to Hailstorm several times including a couple of Vlad releases and overall enjoyed it. To me the taproom experience was better than the take-home experience. Their NEIPA's had trouble with batch consistency even in the taproom. I'm not sure if that's been ironed out but in the interim other NEIPA's have come along that seem like they're more of a sure thing (especially Triptych), so I don't buy Hailstorm any more.

The BA Vlad's are good but to my palate a step below the top BA stouts. Obviously that's a matter of taste, but I wouldn't stand in line for BA Vlad. If I found it on the shelf it's definitely worth a buy though.

So, had to go and try dank meme. Not bad but didn't stand out. I would second the inconsistency in the cloud beers but they have certainly dialed it in lately. Next time you see Stratus grab some and holler back.

I don't like the flavor of Cirrus at all. Wish I bought the blue pack instead

this batch of Cirrus is pretty bad, almost oxidized.
