Goose Island 312 Block Party - 2018

With the amount of lost barrels GI has I'm tempted to take a moving truck over to the warehouse and just start piling stuff in as they probably won't even know it's missing.

 

I will reiterate that the event was awesome on Saturday. I showed up around 4:45 and waited 5-10 minutes to get in the Wolcott entrance. There was no line for bcbs at any point during the event and even when it hit capacity, things in general never felt overcrowded or out of control. It was actually kind of refreshing going to an event with a more mixed crowd of beer and non-beer people. I've never had an easier time trying so many great beers without battling crowds.

 

I can't believe "lost barrels" goes over very well at AB HQ but since this seems to happen with some regularity I'll risk a criminal record to go halfsies on this with you.

Or I'll at least think more seriously about attending next year. Hazy Milkshake BCBS should be ready by then and really good on a late summer day.

Funny enough, if you read the story of the guy stealing Pappy and such from years back, Barrels apparently were not even known to be missing when they went missing. Found that interesting.
