    No need to buy 4 4-packs if you can get it because you might see 1 total case of BA stouts in a season. Now but 1 4-pack of every release and you have 4 cases of BA stouts in your cellar.

    BAE (cause I want to remind everyone if this terrible abbreviation) is, IMO, a considerably better beer, and I'd gladly trade some of just about any stout I can get during the year for some BAExpo.

    So is barrel aged expo coming out again this summer? Or is 2018 just a rumor

    It has been confirmed that is is definitely coming out possibly and or maybe this summer or next year or the following even possibly according to the bartender at my local corner bars neighbors second cousins girlfriends step niece once removed who talked to a guy in Cincinatti

    In my opinion I put BA expo is in a different class than black note. Both good beers but I enjoy expo much, much more. It is crazy to think black note is just sitting around. I live a few miles from there but have a case from previous releases sitting in the cellar. I thoroughly enjoy the abundance of black note around. As others have said, so many BA stouts out these days, which is truly great.

    Believe what you want, it's happening. I'd assume at the Roll Out The Barrel Event 10/7. Nobody knows about it until the day of at the store and by then you're too late.

    Any idea if it may hit Black Note's distro footprint? My hookup that grabbed BAE for me at the brewery last release moved away!

    It may not even hit distribution, who knows. Last year is it was Michigan only and very limited. Places that did get it, didn't get much at all.

    But there were a lot of obscure places that did get it that had no clue what it was they got. I saw quite a few people comment that random gas station or hole in the wall liquor stores in Northern Michigan with a case of it. Said people would then take advantage and buy the whole case.
