    Not sure what's going on with this thread, but I've been forced (due to reports) to look at thread and remove some recent comments.

    Todd,I've seen you guys close threads for much less than this shit show, this has drifted so far off base it hilarious. For those who actually have something constructive to add to this site regularly do us all a favor and close it down please, this is as far from " beer advocacy " as it gets.

    The General layout was this:

    3cheiefs went to release a beer. FAHA. "Don't Drink beer" hyped it up. Only 100 bottles would be released. People lined up early (near 24 hours). Some untappd reviews were obviously fake. Membership "invites" from the party - which were supposed to take place - apparently never did, but it (appeared) that your invite would be based on how much hype and publicity you gave them.

    The shit show fell from there.

    It's been over for like 5-7 days now. I feel like it could be left at this point.

    Don't get me wrong, this thread got really crazy, but at the same time, some of what the brewery is doing is most certainly an outlier for what it is typically commonplace in California, which is maybe why it became a lightning rod.
