It sold out quicker than I thought it would.
I think the 1:1 ratio was much more appealing.

Damn friend had to have his wedding this weekend on staten island so I didn't try for bottles. Also wanted to save some cash for hopefully more over the next few months, the "we have a lot of beer to get out before the year is over" comment from a few weeks back made me not feel as bad about having to miss this.

So I get that the name of the anny bottle is the number of days they’ve been open. But does anyone know why the stout is 2 days after? @glennl

To account for leap years is my guess.

Well 2555 is just 7 * 365 so I think they just do the anny bottle every 365 days and don’t account for leap years. Even if they did the stout would still be two days after. Just trying to figure out if there’s a significance to that day or if they just had to pick another number.

Regular anny is 365*number of years and the stout anny is 365*number of years + leap year days. It was the same way last year with 2190 and 2192.

yeah someone on here, forget who, last year was saying to Glenn that the Anny names don't account for the leap year and what not then when they dropped last years and the special stout bottle they did that and kept the trend it seems.

Anyone miss the script label from years prior. I am glad they have not changed the ANTEAD label

But shouldn't they be subtracting off of that for the days that have gone by since it was brewed? Consistent with the 2018 ANTEAD release being labeled 2017 for brew date?

I am kidding of course but all these Kane numbers are getting confusing!

Yea that was me lol. Certainly miss the script label but these labels are definitely better than the other new bottle labels. They have the crest shape like the old ones rather than being flat across like the new ones.

I generally have not been a fan of the new style labels on any of the bottles, IMO, but hey my opinion doesnt really matter at the end of the day. The old ones were classier and nicer IMO

Couldn’t agree more but in the end it doesn’t bother me. It’s still the same great beer.

Does Kane allow you to buy single cans?
