So this is a box of firsts for me, which doesn’t occur much since I’m O-L-D and spend an inordinate amount of time beer nerding: it includes my first beer from New Jersey, which will be reviewed for this Sunday’s NBS (yes, I plan my beers in advance - sue me), and it includes my first American Brut IPA, which I’m enjoying now .....



This is also my first beer from Industrial Arts, and all the breweries in the box are new to me - a fourth first. I sound like I’m a bank - a beer bank!

Anywho, I’m really enjoying this. It’s very fruity, a little dank, and has a spicy component as well. It’s also very crisp, and seems sessionable - and then you get 2/3 of the way through the pint, the 7.0% ABV whops you upside the head.

This is a pleasure to drink. You are awesome, @TongoRad.

 

Question...is the NBS share date still the 6th? or did we end up pushing it off a week cause we didn't get our targets for a little bit? Just wondering!

 

22 cans packed and ready to ship. Going crowler and glassware hunting this weekend.

 

Don’t think the date ever changed...unless I got very drunk one night and missed the news (which is very possible).

 

The first beer was very good, the 2nd beer is very gooder, approaching world-class, IMHO.



Autumn Landscape is also from Industrial Arts. It’s a Marzen featuring noble hops and, most importantly, spicy rye malts. An exceptional example of the style, IMHO. I could drink this until it came out my ears.

Very nice reviews, and thanks for posting them. So far we see eye to eye, especially on that Autumn Landscape- that's something else, isn't it? That one fomo-ed me after the first 4-pack . I'm really glad that I was able to get some more and spread the love a bit.
