I can get a six pack of zombie dust for $12 tax free at the brewery. That is my standard. If you're not better than zombie dust you don't get to charge more than zombie dust. Bombers I'll only really buy Lagunitas for $4-5 or so. I might spring for a 750 if it's something special like Game of Thrones branded lol. Bombers really aren't good deals. Hookers and blow? No clue how much hookers cost.

Some will infer by your omission that you DO know how much blow costs.

I find it embarrassing and indicative of people who cannot enjoy a moment without immediately digitally socializing it in real time. Imagine what such behavior might look like before the age of the internet.

It's a free world, and with that given liberty I proclaim those excruciating beer hobbyists as losers. I don't really care what you personally find acceptable. Why would I?

I, truthfully, didn't expect you to answer this, but your response is interesting and telling, none-the-less.

That'd be a bargain, that would.

Well I'm just going by what I saw on a popular vegetable based browser. I don't think I'm allowed to say more.

You crack me up sometimes! What about a 6 pack of hookers, blowing lines and drinking bombers?

I was fully onboard with you until you listed zombie dust as the golden mark of goodness.

So you don't like people to use the internet for beer discussions and you don't like people whose beer discussions take place face to face. You are a tough nut to crack:thinking_face:. Also, when you say you don't really care, what i find personally acceptable, does that mean you care just a little teeny bit?:hugging:

Brewers Association comes up with the Independent Craft seal. Then they let AB/InBev owned breweries participate. "That's Independence You're Tasting" Yeah, right!

He didn't list Zombie Dust as the golden Mark of goodness. He just said that beer has to be better than it for him to justify paying more.

He could have easily said that a beer should be better than Natty Ice to pay more for it too. That doesn't mean that better beers can't be cheaper but it means that worse beers shouldn't be more expensive.

Personally I like Bulleit Bourbon. I have trouble buying Bourbons that are twice the cost but not nearly that much better. I'm not going to buy bourbon that's not better than Bulleit if it's twice the cost.

What AB/Inbev brewery is using the Independent Craft seal? I know that AB/Inbev breweries are members of the Brewers Association but I don't know of ones using the seal.

For me, 'look' is the least important attribute of a beer. I've never really been surprised by what a beer looked like. I am much more interested in what a beer tastes like, something you rarely get from Untappd.

Then tell me what you said. What I see that you said is that BA created the Independent Craft seal and then they let AB/Inbev owned breweries participate.

So where did they allow the breweries to participate in using the seal?

They never said that every brewery that is a member of the Association is independently owned. They never said that breweries allowed in the GABF are independently owned. My understanding is for a brewery to use the seal in their marketing they must not be owned by AB/Inbev though.

Trial of Dmitri is actually pretty good (full disclosure: Norfolk homer here, and slave to all their can releases)

If that made you throw up in your mouth, their Quick Pickle would have killed you... carrots and brine and booze in a glass!

Whilst I can get down on a pint of Trial I draw the line at Quick Pickle, it was just not for me. Love what those guys are doing and I really hope Veil moving down doesn't negatively effect them.
