With legal training you can argue it either way.

 

Beer discussions face to face are fine. I just found it sad that these "men" could only discuss beer, and worse, their "legitimate haze" banter embodied everything I hate about beer culture today in the US.

I completely understand what he was trying to say and I completely agree with the point. I was simply saying that Zombie Dust was a low bar to set as a mark that you would pay more for a better beer.

I really agree with you, I have very low tolerance for idiots talking horseshit like that about beer or anything else for that matter. I just like to be disagreeable with you sometimes

I'll take your word for it. I've never even seen a 3 Floyd's beer. Although I have heard from many other people that Zombie Dust is good. And I've seen many many requests of people wanting to clone that beer.

While I wasn't speaking about you, because I do not know you, I would find you embarrassing. I also feel the same way about people who take pictures of their food.

If that's the case you might reconsider how much time you spend here where the two most popular ongoing threads all involve people posting pictures and descriptions of what they're drinking. Even if you don't post in those threads you're interacting with a lot of people who do.

Although perhaps that explains why you're a bit cranky.

 

Breweries who use unbranded bottle caps must be cutting corners in other areas of beer production. To put it more baldly: beer in bottles with unbranded bottle caps is never good.

Some breweries try to hide the lacklustre quality of their beer by canning it rather than bottling it and capping with unbranded caps. While clever, this subterfuge does not improve the quality of the beer.

You might be thinking: “Hold on a minute Hoss! Aren’t you just a bottle cap collector who is frustrated by not always being able to get a new cap for your collection when buying a new beer?” While I may in fact be a cap collector, I don’t believe it is clouding my judgement in this issue.

 

I don't participate in the WAYDN threads - and I really don't have a problem with those threads at all. You're not listening.

 

Hold on one second . . . some European breweries that foil the necks of their bottles would like a word with you. As would some Belgian breweries that don't.

I don't think that's why they're canning it, brah.

 

Or they are cutting costs on caps to use that saved money on the beer? Or maybe it could be both - but you would never know
