Perhaps I'm misinterpreting the details of this year's prop day, is there no option for a guest ticket? I remember the year i went to Prop day (2016), I was only allotted one proprietors and one bottle of rare for each ticket, so is it safe to assume with you being able to purchase two bottles and one vanilla that perhaps there may be more tickets available this year?

Just trying to create some optimism for myself as I'm expecting to miss out again.

 

You'll be able to bring a guest/mule who can also purchase full allotment. They confirmed this on Twatter.

regarding prop day

any fellow GI MBA's out there with the first flight card?

I don't get any emails about these events even though i'm signed up, was wondering if it's the same for any of you.

 

What's the first flight card? I'm a recent MBA member, but not familiar with what first flight is. I'm assuming I don't have it...but want to know more.

EDIT: maybe you're just referring to the cool black card we get? If so, we don't get any special chance for this...it's all lottery.

Well, I freeze my emails before sending them in with the hope they get pulled out of the barrel. David Stern does draw the winners, right?

 

Yeah, this is not a "Clybourn event" so can't imagine anything beneficial from First Flight...You'll get prerelease for Clybourn Black Friday event tickets though which doesn't mean much because they'll still sell out instantly.

 

Any idea if the +1 can still attend without the main winner? In other words, gather all you mules with a unique email address and fire away?

 

That would be like the worst way to run a lottery/event like this. It probably works though.

Yes, same issue I have with it. I'm sure they try to sniff it out with IP addresses and such (if you entering for every family member)...but seems like an odd design.

Yup, same here. I'd love to be told this is wrong...but pretty sure it's not.

 

From last years instructions:

"6) If you are bringing a guest, they need to be with you at check in - and their name also needs to match the name of the guest you submitted."

 

Yeah a guest could not just go without the main winner.
